Sing at the Choir!

Dear magnificent voices!

It’s that time again! Join us for THE CHOIR next Thursday, October 13th at 11am PST/ 2pm EST/ 6pm GMT.

For those of you that have never joined us, THE CHOIR is a free monthly voice event for all voices from all walks of life. Part choir, part voice coaching, part collective concert.

*No singing experience needed, and you can come and watch and listen too if you aren’t feeling ready to sing.

Our Choir theme this month is Dreams.

Dreaming is a core function of our being; it is a defining feature of life as human beings. Most of us experience dreaming each night, where symbols and archetypes descend to us through the subconscious realm. We also experience the magnetic power of holding a vision or a dream, especially when that dream is for a greater purpose.

The Australian Aborigines preserved their culture in a state of awareness they called The Dream Time, which transcended their daily life and got them in touch with their ancestors and the natural environment at an energetic level.

What are you dreaming?

This month’s song is by a band from New Zealand (which Australia has claimed as their own) called Crowded House. This song was one of their biggest global hits and if you don’t know it, we think you’ll enjoy singing it with us!

We will also have a special guest, Hailey Henriques, one of our Private Songwriter’s Journey alumni, who is celebrating her single that was just released today - “Broke Free.”
